Gangways

A gangway gives you easy access from the shore to your floating dock. The wider the strip of reeds, mud and vegetation between the water and dry land, the longer the gangway should be. A gangway is also the right choice when the water is shallow near the shore but you want your floating dock to reach deeper water. A popular option is to start the dock with a screw pile solution and continue further out with a gangway on swing hinges. Our gangways are made of pressure-treated timber, and floats can be added underneath when needed. Gangways are sold only as part of a swimming dock or boat dock kit.

Gangway module dimensions: width 1.2 m, length 2 m (2.4 m^m2) / 3 (3.6^m2) / 4 (4.8^m2) / 5 (6^m2) / 6 m (7.2^m2).

Frame: 45 × 145 mm / 45 × 195 mm / 70 × 195 mm HC4 pressure-treated pine

Decking: 28 × 120 mm HC4 pressure-treated grooved pine

Metal parts: hot-dip galvanised
