Gangways
The purpose of the gangway is to assist the user from the shore to the floating bridge. The longer the grey area (reeds, mud, vegetation) between the water and the ground, the longer the gangway should be. A gangway is also a good solution if the water is shallow at the shore, but there is still a desire to reach deeper water. The traditional option is to start the bridge with a screw bridge solution and continue further with a swinging footbridge. The gangways are made of deep-drawn timber and, if necessary, floats are added underneath.
